Abstract

The invention discloses an online migration method for a container, and belongs to the technical field of calculation system visualization. The method comprises the following steps that: firstly, collecting the resource use situations of a migration source end and a migration destination end; then, according to the resource use situations of the migration source end and the migration destination end, making a migration rule; sending the migration rule to a migration control end; then, applying the migration rule to a container migration path by the migration control end; and finally, utilizinga CRIU (Checkpoint / Restore in Userspace) and the deployed migration rule to execute container migration. By use of the method, according to the resource use situations of the migration source end andthe migration destination end, resources used for migration are formulated and distributed, and the container migration path is determined through the dynamic migration control rule. Compared with the prior art, the method disclosed by the invention realizes container migration controllability, flexible choices are provided for users, and the reasonable distribution of the resources is realized.
