The antenna system is applied to the terminal with a metal shell, wherein a slot filled with a nonmetallic material is arranged in the metal shell; the metal shell is partitioned through the slot to form a resonance arm and a coupling arm; the antenna system comprises the resonance arm, the coupling arm, a feed circuit, a first tuning circuit and a second tuning circuit; the feed circuit is connected between a first feed point of the resonance arm and a ground terminal; the first tuning circuit is connected with the feed circuit in parallel; and the second tuning circuit is connected between a second feed point of the coupling arm and the ground terminal. According to the antenna system and the terminal, independent tuning of a low frequency and a medium-high frequency of the antenna system can be achieved, a carrier aggregation antenna system can be effectively achieved, the radiation efficiency of the antenna system is improvedand broadband coverage is achieved.
