Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a software upgrading method and device, terminal equipment and a medium. The method comprises the steps of: judging whether first software needs to be upgraded or not by the terminal equipment; if yes, obtaining a first version of file list information of the first software from a server by the terminal equipment; comparing the obtained first version of file list information with a second version of file list information of the first software, which is stored by the terminal equipment and determining files which need to be upgraded in the first software by the terminal equipment, wherein the first software is an upgraded version of the second version; obtaining the files which need to be upgraded from the server by the terminal equipment; and upgrading the first software according to the obtained files which need to be upgraded by the terminal equipment. By adopting the method disclosed by the embodiment of the invention, the software upgradingefficiency is improved.
