The QPS control method for the server is used for the servers in a server cluster. The method comprises the following steps of receiving the total number of servercluster requests in designated time counted in advance; computing a ratio of the number of requests received locally within the designated time to the total number of server cluster requests; and computing a first QPS control value according to the ratio and a cluster query per second (QPS) limit value required by a demand side platform.
