The method comprises the steps of generating a contract corresponding to a first account on a first block chain node when a cross-chain resource transfer request of the first account is received, wherein the cross-chain resource transfer request is used for requesting to transfer resources of the first account to a second account, and the contract is used for indicating event execution conditions in a current resource transfer process; based on the contract, when the first block chain node reaches a consensus for a contract generation event, transferring the resources in the contract to the second account; and based on the contract, when a second block chain node reaches a consensus for a resource transfer event, updating a contract state of the contract to a finished state, and reaching a consensus for a state updating event of the contract through the first block chain node, wherein a first block chain serving the first account is different from a second block chain serving the second account.
