Abstract

The invention discloses a high-way accident primary and secondary reasons analysis method and accident type judgment method based on C4.5. The method comprises the following steps: 1, collecting traffic accident records of N high-ways, wherein each record comprises a road condition, a driver condition, a vehicle condition and like attribute information when the accident occurs, and an accident type; 2, symbolizing the attribute information; and constructing a sample seat through the attribute variables and the accident type; 3, combining the attribute variables of N accidents into an attributeset {Vi}, regarding the attribute set {Vi} as the input and an accident type set {Ci} as the output, constructing a decision tree by applying a C4.5 algorithm, wherein a terminal node of the decisiontree is the accident type and an intermediate node is the attribute; and 4, obtaining the accident primary and secondary factor order according to the established decision tree. The method disclosedby the invention comprehensively considers the human-vehicle-road and environment index related to the accident, the road traffic accident primary and secondary reasons can be precisely analyzed, thereby judging the most possible accident type under a certain condition. The method has guidance significance for adopting a protection measure by the road traffic management department.
