The shortest path query method includes acquiring fund knowledge in information source and establishing fund knowledge element database; performing fusion of fund knowledge and storage in databases; the shortest paths between all entities in the whole graph and each sub-graph are calculated periodically and the shortest path matrix is established; acquiring query requests and searching corresponding results from a shortest path matrix; when there is no corresponding result in the shortest path matrix, the corresponding sub-graph is selected from the fund knowledge element database; calculating the shortest path for a particular pair of entities in the subgraph.
