Abstract

The invention provides a port identification method based on ship track big data. The method is started from relatively neglected ship static state recognition in traditional research; the novel portberthing ship extraction method is provided, anchored ships are ingeniously filtered out, algorithm parameters are optimized through statistical analysis of a large number of historical ship navigation information, and finally automatic identification and extraction of the port position and range are achieved through a classical density clustering method. Potential and even secret berth wharf information which cannot be recognized based on remote sensing images traditionally can be recognized and serves as a beneficial supplement of an existing port recognition technology. Furthermore, important basic information is provided for evaluating the throughput of a port activity area and a port, analyzing ship behavior activities and identifying an abnormal ship target.
