According to the method, an intersection entrance lane related traffic characteristic data set is constructed; a road capacity reduction factor of influences in the process that buses queue for arrival and overflow at the rush hour is determined through analyzing the traffic characteristics in the process that the buses overflow and queue to wait for arrival; a reduction coefficient of influences, on the road capacity, of each bus lane change behavior is determined through analyzing influences, on social vehicle running characteristics, of the bus lane change process; bus lane change frequency, influencing the traffic capacity, of each entrance lane of the intersection is determined through analyzing selection characteristics of the buses at the intersection entrance lanes; and traffic capacities of the intersection entrance lanes under the influences of the upstream harbor stations are determined. Through quantifying the traffic capacities, influenced by the upstream harbor stations, of the intersection entrance lanes, the traffic states of the intersection entrance lanes are better grasped, and traffic jam can be pre-warned in advance, so that the traffic efficiencies of the intersection entrance lanes are improved.
