Embodiment Construction

[0022] HSAR preparations Wash, grind and mix together the following herbs in equal proportions: Garlic (garlic), Ferulicum (type of dried latex), Turmeric (Curcuma longa), seeds of Acacia acacia (gum acacia tree), seeds of Acacia Aerial parts, date palms (jujubes) were suitably mixed with honey (250ml / kg) together with common salt (NaCl) (1 g / kg ground herb) to form a thick paste. In one aspect, the honey is an acacia honey, but this is not a limitation of the invention. Then, (due to the undesired smell of ferulicum and garlic) the thick slurry was heated by open fire in air for almost 3 hours until the thick slurry was completely burned and turned into black charcoal. The black carbon is then ground into a powder (called HSAR) and ready for use. Black powder (HSAR) is slightly soluble in water, pH=9±0.2.

[0023] When suspended in honey, oil, cream or gel, HSAR formulations form a thick slurry that acts as an emulsion. The oil may be saturated vegetable oil or animal fa...

Abstract

A method is disclosed for the preparation of a composition comprising mixing Allium sativum, Ferula assa-foetida, Curcuma longa, Acacia nilotica, Calligonum comosum, Phoenix dactylifera with sodium chloride and burning the mixture to produce a powdery composition. The composition is used for the treatment of gangrene, skin ulcers, or eczema.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the use of formulations for the treatment of chronically infected wounds such as but not limited to bacterial and fungal infections. In addition to antiviral activity, wounds include diabetic foot ulcers and gangrene. Background technique [0002] Chronically infected wound healing. Wound healing is a complex biological process aimed at repairing damaged tissue (Korblatt et al., 2016). More than 6.5 million Americans suffer from chronic, non-healing wounds, generating more than $25 billion in annual medical costs (Sen et al., 2009). These figures are expected to increase as the number of high-risk groups increases, including those with diabetes and obesity, as well as the elderly. The significant disability and societal costs associated with chronic wounds highlight the inadequacy of our current treatment equipment (Whittam et al., 2016). [0003] In addition to the financial cost, the quality of life of patients wi...
