The antidepressant drug can relieve the despair degree of the depression model animal, so that the motionless state can be reversed, and the depression symptom is relieved. The experimental study finds that the 5, 6-didehydro-pythoncidere can relieve the despair degree of a depression model mouse, has an antidepressant effect, and has a prospect of being developed into the antidepressant drug.
