The invention relates to a method for high-throughput screening of antidepressant drugs and application of pectolinarin in depression resistance, and belongs to the technical field of biological medicines. Depression is a serious neurological and mental disease and affects millions of people in the world. Major depression is one of common mental diseases and is also one of main reasons causing global disability. It is found that the new antidepressant drug capable of treating depression has important significance. According to the application, firstly, an animal model, namely, a per2- / -mutant zebrafish depression model, capable of realizing high-throughput screening of antidepressant drugs is constructed, secondly, the model is used for drug screening of traditional Chinese medicine monomers, and finally, it is found that 10 mu M of pectolinarin can effectively rescue depression-like phenotypes of per2- / -mutant zebrafish. A new strategy is provided for precise treatment of depression, a potential pharmacological mechanism of depression is researched, and an effective means is expected to be provided for clinical treatment of depression.
