The method comprises the steps that a first matching vector is generated according to a first classification rule set and packet header information of a network data packet, and all elements in the first matching vector are used for representing whether the network data packet is matched with allclassification rules in the first classification rule set or not; a first report vector is generated according to a first priority coding matrix and the first matching vector, and all elements in thefirst priority coding matrix are used for representing the priority high-low relation between all classification rules in the first classification rule set; the first report vector is output so as toforward the network data packet according to the classification rule with the highest priority matched with the network data packet.
