Embodiment approach

[0083] Below, based on figure 1 The fall risk assessment system according to this embodiment will be described.

[0084] figure 1 It is a block diagram showing the configuration of the fall risk assessment system according to the embodiment of the present invention.

[0085] figure 1 The fall risk assessment system shown includes a fall risk assessment device 1 , a camera 2 , and a display unit 3 .

[0086] Camera 2 records a walking test subject. The camera 2 outputs moving image data representing a walking test subject to the fall risk assessment device 1 . The camera 2 is connected to the fall risk assessment device 1 by wire or wirelessly.

[0087] The fall risk assessment device 1 includes a processor 11 and a memory 12 .

[0088] The processor 11 is, for example, a CPU (Central Processing Unit), and includes a data acquisition unit 111 , a walking parameter detection unit 112 , a fall risk determination unit 113 , and an evaluation result presentation unit 114 .

Abstract

The present invention provides a fall risk evaluation method, a fall risk evaluation device, and a recording medium for the fall risk evaluation device that evaluates a fall risk on the basis of a walking motion of a test subject. The fall risk evaluation method includes: acquiring walking data related to walking of the subject; detecting, from the walking data, at least one of a vertical displacement of a waist of the subject in a stance phase of one leg of the subject, a vertical displacement of the waist of the subject in a swing phase of the one leg, an angle of a knee joint of the one legin the stance phase, and an angle of an ankle joint of one foot in the swing phase; and determining a fall risk of the subject by using at least one of the vertical displacement of the waist in the stance phase, the vertical displacement of the waist in the swing phase, the angle of the knee joint in the stance phase, and the angle of the ankle joint in the swing phase.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a technique for assessing the risk of falling based on the walking behavior of a test subject. Background technique [0002] In recent years, in order to understand the health status of the elderly, technologies that can easily estimate body functions have been developed. In particular, the elderly are more likely to fall due to poor physical function, and may become fractured or bedridden due to falls. For this reason, it is necessary to detect the elderly who are prone to falls, that is, the elderly who are at risk of falling, as early as possible, so as to take measures to prevent falls. [0003] Conventionally, there has been proposed a technique for evaluating cognitive functions or motor functions based on parameters measured from daily walking. [0004] For example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 2013-255786 discloses a method of evaluating the degree of susceptibility to occurrence of geriatric diso...
