Abstract

The invention discloses an electronic document filing method and device. The method comprises the steps of receiving a to-be-archived electronic document; analyzing a to-be-archived electronic document by adopting an image segmentation algorithm to obtain layout structure information; and archiving the to-be-archived electronic document according to the layout structure information. According to the electronic document archiving method, the layout of the electronic document to be archived is analyzed by adopting the image segmentation algorithm, and the area with the key information is subjected to OCR (Optical Character Recognition) according to the layout structure, so that classification and homing of the electronic document are achieved. According to the electronic document archiving method, resource occupation and data redundancy caused by a large number of OCR are avoided, and the electronic document archiving precision and efficiency are further improved.
