Abstract

The invention relates to a method and equipment for evaluating moisture content of oil paper insulation. The method comprises the steps: obtaining a water content mean value of an oil paper insulation test sample with non-uniform water content, and performing frequency domain dielectric spectrum test on the water content mean value to obtain a first complex dielectric constant real part curve; comparing the first complex dielectric constant real part curve with a preset complex dielectric constant real part curve to determine a first ordinate difference value set; performing a frequency domain dielectric spectrum test on to-be-tested oil paper insulation to obtain a second complex dielectric constant real part curve, and comparing the second complex dielectric constant real part curve with a preset complex dielectric constant real part curve to determine a second ordinate difference value; determining a first ordinate difference value closest to the second ordinate difference value; determining a first water content corresponding to the closest first ordinate difference value; and obtaining a second water content according to a preset water content prediction model, and determining the water content of the to-be-detected oil paper insulation according to the first water content and the second water content. Through the method, the accuracy of evaluating the water content of the oil paper insulation is improved.
