Abstract

The field emission display includes negative plate, buffer layer closed together with the negative plate, electron emission end formed on buffer layer, positive plate with fluorescent layer being covered faced to the negative plate and sealing arrangement. The sealing arrangement defines a sealed internal space including the negative plate, the buffer layer, the electron emission end and the positive plate. The sealing arrangement includes front faceplate, rear faceplate and sidewall. The front faceplate and rear faceplate are made from glass. The sidewall is made from fernico having same heat expansion coefficient as coefficient of glass material.
