Business transformation management

A solution for managing a business transformation is provided. The invention obtains an impact of a business solution for the business transformation on a business concern for an enterprise and relationship information for the business concern with one or more other business concerns and / or value (business) metrics. The impact of the business solution is propagated to a set of business concerns and / or value metrics based on the relationship information. The impact can include a time delay factor, which can be used during evaluation to perform numerous financial related metrics (e.g., return on investment). The relationship information and / or impact can be derived from empirical data using regression analysis or the like. In order to facilitate evaluation of the business transformation, various improved graphical interfaces can be generated that highlight the changes caused by the business transformation for use by a user.

Method and apparatus for business process transformation wizard

ActiveUS20090112663A1Reduce needForecastingPayment architectureProcedural parameterComputerized system
A computer implemented method and a computer system implementing the method of a business process transformation wizard leads a business analyst through a series of steps to invoke business transformation patterns, in order to analyze the results of those processes. The wizard first prompts the business analyst to specify business objectives of process transformation. Required parameters are added to the business process model guided by the business process transformation wizard until the business process model is completed. Once the model is completed, the wizard prompts the business analyst to select transformation techniques or patterns for optimizing process parameters and, for each selected transformation pattern, optimizes process parameters using a selected optimization technique. The wizard also prompts the business analyst to select transformation patterns for optimizing topology of the business process and, for each selected transformation pattern, optimizes topology for the business process using a selected optimization technique.

Efficient Frontier and Attainment Rate for Business Transformation Outsourcing

A method and system for establishing an Efficient Frontier (EF) and Attainment Rate (AR) for Business Transformation Outsourcing (BTO) is presented. EF is the maximum service level achievable at a point in time for a specific business process or business process area. AR is the pace at which the EF can be reached from an initial value. Clients, outsourcers, and third-parties determine whether proposals are infeasible (above EF) or inefficient (below AR). Fact-based discussions of the merits and limitations of various implementation initiatives are supported. A determination is made as to whether there are any business segments to which different EF and AR apply. Any underlying factors for the EF and AR of each business segment are determined, and any change (rise or fall) of EF over time is predicted to maintain an optimally accurate EF and / or AR for each business segment.

Gray release realization method, device and system and computation node

The invention discloses a gray release realization method, device and system and a computation node. The method comprises the following steps of: processing a received application request and determining the received application request as a gray request; analyzing the gray request according to preset shard configuration information, and determining the gray request as a first gray request for requesting gray data or a second gray request for requesting gray data and official data; partially forwarding data for requesting a gray user in the first gray request or the second gray request to a gray data node where the gray user corresponding to the gray request is located to carry out execution; and partially forwarding the data for requesting an official user in the second gray request to anofficial data node where the official user is located to carry out execution. Through the method, gray users and official users are differentiated at database layers, so that the aim of gray releaseis simply and effectively achieved, and the business transformation amount is decreased at the same time.

Generating an optimized analytical business transformation

Techniques for optimizing a Business Process Model (BPM) having at least one work process are presented. At a simulation client, a determination is made whether a simulated business outcome associated with a test BPM satisfies a business value deficiency associated with a current BPM. In response to a determination that the simulated business outcome does not satisfy the business value deficiency, the test BPM is optimized. Once the simulation client determines that the simulated business outcome satisfies the business value deficiency, the test BPM is implemented as an actual BPM. Moreover, an actual business outcome associated with the actual BPM is generated. A determination is made whether the actual business outcome satisfies the simulated business outcome. In response to a determination that the actual business outcome does not satisfy the simulated business outcome, the actual BPM is optimized.
