Subsequently, an erasure control signal is generated for the remaining areas for subsequent erasure. After all erasure operations are completed, the non-volatile memory device is placed in a shielded and locked state. In this state, the read interface responds to read requests by outputting preset mask data, and the device is prohibited from executing the normal boot process.
