Abstract

The invention discloses a monitoring and forecasting method for impending earthquake and impending earthquake alarm invented by the method. In the invention by monitoring the change of microwave energy generated in earth earthquake is forecasted. The impending earthquake alarm collects mass microwave energy generated in earth when earthquake comes by microwave resonator bodies (1 and 2). By making use of heating dehydration effect of microwave energy, water storing matter (12) at one end of scale (5) in the resonator body (2) is dehydrated so that weight is decreased. In this way, the other end of scale (5) goes down to turn the touching switch (9) connected with electric bell (7) on so that the electric bell (7) alarms. It can estimate earthquake magnitude according to monitoring the value of air thermo-hygrometer in the resonator body (2).
