Problems solved by technology

Once the central part is placed near the vaginal opening, it is easy to bring discomfort to the vicinity of the vaginal opening because the height dimension is too high, and if the above-mentioned central part is placed in contact with the buttock cleft, the width dimension is too large and it is difficult to into the groove of the gluteal cleft
Moreover, if the above-mentioned central part is brought into contact with the vicinity of the coccyx behind the hip cleft, the raised part is too high, and a gap is likely to be generated between the napkin main body and the buttocks.

A sanitary napkin (1) which has a surface-constituting member (3) made of a liquid-permeable sheet on the surface in the skin side of the napkin body (2) having a liquid-absorbing layer. Owing to this surface-constituting member (3), an eminence (41) is formed. The eminence (41) has enlarged width and reduced height at the rising edges in the anterior and posterior parts, which facilitates the close attachment of the napkin around the vagina and the coccyx. On the other hand, the eminence (41) has narrowed width and enlarged height at the rising edges in the part opposite to the anus and the posterior part thereof, which facilitates the close attachment of the napkin to the anal cleft and so on.
