This invention discloses a method for preparing a three-dimensional integrated lumbar support cushion. The raw materials of the lumbar support cushion include: ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, polyether-type thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer, physically foamed microspheres, azodicarbonamide, caprolactam-blocked 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, surface-modified copper nanowires, and silver-loaded silicone composite components. The preparation process is as follows: the matrix resin and modified copper nanowires are melt-blended at high temperature, and then mixed with the foaming system, crosslinking agent, and composite components at low temperature to obtain a blended base material; the blended base material is injection molded, followed by static differential temperature field for pressure holding and curing, and finally cooled and demolded. This invention utilizes copper nanowires to construct a thermally conductive network, which, combined with the external temperature difference, forms a continuous foaming ratio and crosslinking density gradient inside, eliminating the physical phase interface of traditional multi-material splicing, significantly improving the tear resistance and fatigue life of the transition zone; and utilizes cooling phase separation to form an anti-slip and antibacterial skin layer.

Multilayer surface protection film and method for producing the same

Multilayer surface protection films and methods for making and using such films are provided. The surface protection films have first and second thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) layers and an intermediate ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) layer disposed between the first and second TPU layers. The use of the first and second TPU layers as outer layers contributes to the optical clarity of the film. These TPU layers may have different thicknesses. The use of EVA as a component of the film layers provides a film with lower cost compared to traditional single-layer TPU films. When used as a surface coating for a wide range of applications, such as automobiles, wind turbine blades, home appliances, electronic displays, and mobile devices, the EVA component properties and the total EVA ratio of the film can be used to improve the physical properties of the multilayer structure while maintaining comparable or superior performance to these films.

Hydrocolloid-based wound dressings and methods for the same

Hydrocolloid-based wound dressings and backing layers thereof are described. The backing layer may include a carrier film prepared from a carrier film composition. The carrier film composition may include a surface active agent and a combination of first and second aromatic polyester-based thermoplastic polyurethanes. The combination of the first and second aromatic polyester-based thermoplastic polyurethanes may provide a wrinkle-free carrier film under accelerated aging conditions. The hydrocolloid-based wound dressing may include an adhesive layer and the backing layer disposed on the adhesive layer. Methods for preparing the backing layer may include contacting the first aromatic polyester-based thermoplastic polyurethane, the second aromatic polyester-based thermoplastic polyurethane, and the surface active agent with one another to prepare a mixture. The method may also include melting and homogenizing the mixture in an extruder, and extrusion casting the melted mixture on the carrier substrate to prepare the backing layer.
