2394 results about "Shore" patented technology

A shore or a shoreline is the fringe of land at the edge of a large body of water, such as an ocean, sea, or lake. In physical oceanography, a shore is the wider fringe that is geologically modified by the action of the body of water past and present, while the beach is at the edge of the shore, representing the intertidal zone where there is one. In contrast to a coast, a shore can border any body of water, while the coast must border an ocean; in that sense a coast is a type of shore; however, coast often refers to an area far wider than the shore, often stretching miles into the interior.

Solid golf ball

The invention provides a solid golf ball having a solid core and a cover layer that encases the core and has an outermost layer on an outside surface of which are formed a plurality of dimples. The solid core is formed of a rubber composition composed of 100 parts by weight of a base rubber that includes from 60 to 100 parts by weight of a polybutadiene rubber having a cis-1,4 bond content of at least 60% and synthesized using a rare-earth catalyst, from 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of an organosulfur compound, an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a metal salt thereof, an inorganic filler, and an antioxidant. The solid core has a deformation, when compressed under a final load of 130 kgf from an initial load of 10 kgf, of from 2.0 to 4.0 mm, and has a specific hardness distribution. The cover layer has a thickness of from 0.5 to 1.9 mm, and a Shore D hardness at the surface of from 50 to 70. The ball has at least one intermediate layer between the core and the cover, any one of which intermediate layer or layers has a surface hardness in Shore D units of from 40 to 60, the intermediate layer or layers having a total thickness of from 0.9 to 7.0 mm. The golf ball has a deformation, when compressed under a final load of 130 kgf from an initial load of 10 kgf, of from 2.0 to 3.8 mm. The solid golf ball is advantageous overall in competitive use.

The invention discloses an unmanned-device-based water quality patrolling, contaminant originating system and a method thereof, wherein the system comprises an unmanned plane, an unmanned ship and a shore-based monitoring system. The unmanned ship carrying a water quality detection device is capable of performing on-line detection of water quality across a water area at which the unmanned ship is located. The unmanned ship carries a small-sized unmanned plane, and a ship body thereof provides docking and charging device for the unmanned plane, thereby achieving a wide patrolling range of the unmanned plane. Both the unmanned ship and the unmanned plane are equipped with an HD (High-Definition) video monitoring system for separately achieving a water surface patrolling function. The invention provides a brand new water quality monitoring approaches by means of carrying theunmanned plane on the unmanned ship for patrolling a polluted water area in a space formula manner. A combination of the unmanned plane and the unmanned ship uses a characteristic of a wide view of the unmanned plane, to further achieve tracking of a pollution source, and also better compensates for defects of separate patrol of the unmanned ship or unmanned plane, thereby facilitating high efficiency and precision of water quality monitoring, and improving informationalized level of water quality monitoring.

Landscape type multi-stage stepwise artificial wetland protection slope forming method

The invention relates to a slope protection forming method of a landscape-type multi-level stepped constructed wetland, which has the effect of intercepting and purifying pollutants entering river channels in the form of surface sources. Sand-free concrete piles and slabs are inserted to form pile-slab components, and a slope protection system from high to low is formed on the river bank slope from the bank slope to the river bed. Planting areas are set on the side of the pile slabs, and there are fillers inside. Geotextiles are installed on the bankside side of the slab, so that when the non-point source pollutants flow from the river bank to the river, the plants planted in the planting area absorb the eutrophication in the polluted water, and the biofilm is formed on the surface of the filler to absorb and degrade the pollutants. After this The sewage treated at the first stage continues to infiltrate or overflow, enters the second row, and goes down step by step. Finally, the sewage is purified to a greater extent and flows into the river. It solves the defects of natural, hard and ecological slope protection. The structure is simple, easy for industrial production, the construction amount is small, the land is saved, and the landscape is beautified.

Amphibious recreational vehicle

An amphibious recreational vehicle (motorhome, trailer, SUV, and the like) of conventional RV height, width, and length restricted dimensions necessary to travel on highways and roads, and which upon entering the water, the bottom of the vehicle expands outwardly and upwardly to form a fast planing, wide-beam, ground effects cathedral type double-tunnel hull. The hull makes use of a dynamic air cushion to augment the planing of the hulls, owing to the ground effect created by compression of the ram air stream (and water vapor) rushing through the two tapered tunnels separating the three hulls. The wheels of the vehicle are simultaneously raised out of the water to eliminate parasite drag. The resultant hull is substantially wider than the cabin, providing substantial ocean-going stability for the craft. The folded elements incorporated within the cabin rooftop, raise upward to form a traditional yacht flying bridge, complete with a windshield, steering station, seating, mast, and safety rails. The resultant watercraft closely approximates the off-shore speed, seaworthiness, performance, stability, cabin space, main deck space, and elevated flying bridge deck attributes of conventional yachts. And when on land, the craft is a fully functioning traditional recreational vehicle suited for fast highway travel, driving about towns, staying in RV parks, and camping in the wilderness. This amphibious recreational vehicle is an interrelated component divided from the inventor's previous Comprehensive Vehicle Construction And Hybrid Electric Drive System application.
