Nano reinforcing method for recycled aggregate concrete

The invention discloses a nano reinforcing method for recycled aggregate concrete, which belongs to the technical fields of recycling comprehensive utilization of waste and production of building materials, and is mainly characterized by comprising the steps of: mixing and stirring a recycled aggregate and a nano particle dispersion for 5-10s; after the surface of the recycled aggregate is in a moist state, further mixing the recycled aggregate with all admixtures for 5-10s; and mixing and stirring with cement, water and a high-efficiency water reducing agent for 20-45s to obtain a nano-reinforced recycled aggregate concrete mixture. The nano reinforcing method has a principle that by changing a stirring process and introducing the nano dispersion, nano particles can be adsorbed into the opening pores and microcracks of the recycled aggregate, an admixture enriched layer is further formed on the surface of the recycled aggregate, the nano particles permeating into the interiors of the opening pores of the recycled aggregate and the admixture enriched layer formed on the surface of the recycled aggregate are used for jointly absorbing calcium hydroxide enriched on the surface and the pores of the recycled aggregate in the strength development process of the recycled aggregate concrete, a gelling material with higher strength is generated through hydration, liquid-phase or solid-phase reactions so as to reinforce the recycled aggregate per se and an interface between the recycled aggregate and set cement, and thus, the strength of the recycled aggregate concrete is enhanced. After the nano reinforcement, the recycled aggregate concrete has the 28-day compression strength improved by around 15-20%.

Delivery of a substance to a subterranean location is achieved by suspending the substance as nanoparticles in a carrier fluid in which the substance is insoluble. The procedure may start by forming a dispersible powder composition, which is done by dissolving the substance in a solvent, emulsifying the resulting solution as the dispersed phase of an emulsion, and freeze-drying the emulsion to a powder. On mixing the powder with a fluid in which the substance is insoluble, any soluble constituents of the powder dissolve and the insoluble substance becomes a dispersion of nanoparticles of the substance. Then, the fluid containing the dispersed substance is pumped to the subterranean location. The dispersion of nanoparticles has surprising stability, facilitating transport to the subterranean location. At the subterranean location the dispersed nanoparticles may migrate into other fluid encountered there: more specifically a dispersed tracer substance may migrate from injected water into hydrocarbon in a hydrocarbon reservoir. Another possibility is that dispersion as nanoparticles enables interaction with other constituents of the fluid to be delayed until the subterranean location is reached: more specifically the fluid may contain polymer and the dispersed nanoparticles may comprise an agent which participates in cross-linking and consequent viscosification of the polymer.

INTRAVENOUS FORMULATIONS OF COENZYME Q10 (CoQ10) AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF

Disclosed herein are formulations suitable for parenteral administration of certain hydrophobic active agents such as Coenzyme Q10. Methods of preparing the same and methods of treatment of oncological disorders using the same are also provided herein. The formulations comprise an aqueous solution; a hydrophobic active agent dispersed to form a colloidal nano-dispersion of particles; and at least one of a dispersion stabilizing agent and an opsonization reducer wherein the colloidal nano-dispersion of the active agent is dispersed into nano-dispersion particles having a mean size of less than 200-nm. Methods of preparing the parenteral formulations comprise dispersing the hydrophobic active agent by high pressure homogenization by (1) adding hydrophobic active agent to a 65° C. bath of water and mixing to form a hydrophobic active agent / water mixture; (2) adding a dispersion stabilizing agent to the hydrophobic active agent / water mixture and mix at 65° C. to form a hydrophobic active agent / water / stabilizer mixture; (3) adding an opsonization reducer to form a hydrophobic active agent / water / stabilizer / reducer mixture; (4) pre-heating a Microfluidizer to 65° C.; and (5) processing by mixing the hydrophobic active agent / water / stabilizer / reducer mixture in the Microfluidizer at 65° C. such that a hydrophobic active agent colloidal nano-dispersion having a mean particle size less than 200-nm is formed. Provided herein are also methods of treating oncological disorders by administering formulations described herein to a subject such that treatment or prevention of the oncological disorder occurs.

The invention provides a preparation method of a water-dispersive ternary mixed-crystal nano titanium dioxide photocatalyst. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: adding a titanium precursor into an absolute alcohol solvent at a room temperature, and uniformly stirring to obtain a titanium precursor alcoholic solution; then adding an acid hydrolysis inhibitor into the obtained titanium precursor alcoholic solution, and uniformly stirring the acid hydrolysis inhibitor and the obtained titanium precursor alcoholic solution, thereby obtaining a mixed solution; adding alcohol aqueous solution into the obtained mixed solution, uniformly stirring the alcohol aqueous solution and the obtained mixed solution, and standing for 1-20 minutes, thereby obtaining a gel; performing solvent thermal reaction on the gel at a temperature of 140-200 DEG C for 2-24 hours, then naturally cooling the reactant mixture to room temperature, and performing centrifugalizing, washing, vacuum drying and grinding, thereby obtaining a target product. Due to adoption of synthesis process based on a one-pot method, the preparation method is high in productivity, low in energy consumption and free from pollution; the product can form a nano dispersion in water and has quite high catalytic activity on organic sewage under a condition of visible lights.

Modification method of nano-magnesium hydroxide
