[0016] FIG. 1 shows a schematic diagram of a global positioning system architecture. The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a collection of 24 navigation satellites. Each navigation satellite orbits within a precise orbit approximately 11,000 miles above the Earth's surface. A GPS navigation device (such as GPS navigation device 101) locks up to at least 3 navigation satellites and is able to determine the correct position of the satellites in response to signals from the satellites. However, if three navigation satellites are used for positioning, positioning can only be performed on a two-dimensional plane. And if three-dimensional space positioning is to be carried out, the signals of four navigation satellites must be locked. Therefore, current GPS navigation devices are all locked to four navigation satellites, such as navigation satellites 103 , 105 , 107 and 109 .
