Abstract

A method for preparing a vegetable nutriment includes the following steps: 1 fresh vegetables are chosen, washed, peeled and made into vegetable puree; 2 alginic acid solutions or alginate solutions and protein solutions are prepared and added into the vegetable puree prepared in step 1 for mixing to form the slurry; 3 coagulant solutions are made of soluble calcium salt and the calcium concentration is controlled between 0.12 percent and 1.03 percent; 4 the slurry and coagulant are mixed, stirred uniformly, then put into a mold of a mold making machine, pressure is added then the food with different shapes are formed; and 5 the food obtained in step 4 is processed through ultraviolet sterilization, then sealed, thus forming a product.
