Abstract

The invention provides a method for collecting surname of entity, comprising: obtaining a Web object related to the entity input by the user using a Web search engine; obtaining a socialized label of the Web object from the socialized label network as a candidate surname of the entity; refining the candidate surnames so as to obtain the congregation of the surnames of the entity. The invention further claims an apparatus for collecting the surname of entity, comprising: a device for obtaining a Web object related to the entity input by the user using a Web search engine; a device for obtaining a socialized label of the Web object from the socialized label network as a candidate surname of the entity; and a device for refining the candidate surnames so as to obtain the congregation of the surnames of the entity. According to the invention, the surname of the entity can be automatically and rapidly collected for any given entity by obtaining a large quantity of Web objects and socialized labels thereof.
