The device comprises a storage unit arranged for storing words, an input unit arranged for receiving a querying word, a setting unit arranged for providing a querying mode and setting a preset mode by a user, a querying unit arranged for acquiring a querying result by querying the word which is required in a database according to the preset mode, wherein the querying result contains a candidate word or no word available, and a display unit arranged for displaying the querying result. The input unit is connected with the setting unit; the setting unit is connected with the querying unit; the querying unit is connected with the display unit; and the storage unit is respectively connected with the querying unit and the display unit. The device of the invention can help the user to rapidly and accurately find the required data in various querying modes and the querying mode can be changed according to different use requirements.
