The poster picture matching method comprises steps as follows: a client sends a request message for acquiring a poster picture to a server when detecting that a user triggers preset operation of acquiring the poster picture, wherein the request message comprises a query condition corresponding to the poster picture; the server acquires a target picture matched with the query condition corresponding to the poster picture in the request message when receiving the request message; the server sends the target picture to the client sending the request message; the client receives and displays the target picture. According to the scheme, the matched poster picture is rapidly and accurately searched, so that the search time of the poster picture can be saved, the search efficiency of the poster picture is improved, and the resource editing efficiency is improved.
