The device comprises a downlink link unit and an uplink link unit, wherein the downlink link unit is used for performing optical / electric conversion and compensation on a received composite optical signal, and outputting composite optical signals which are divided into at most 8 identical paths after electric / optical conversion; and the uplink link unit is used for performing optical / electric conversion on the received at most 8 paths of composite optical signals respectively, combining the converted at most 8 paths of electric signals, and outputting the combined electric signals after electric / optical conversion. The device realizes solution for relay in the optical signal transmission and provides multiple ports for a plurality of backward stage equipment access application in a system.
