By utilizing the three-dimensional model data simplification method disclosed by the embodiment of the invention, the three-dimensional model data is analyzed by utilizing the preset view control parameter, and three-dimensional model data which is invisible in the view window corresponding to the view control parameter is discarded, so the data volume in a data transmission process is decreased, and the data transmission speed is increased.
