The driving circuit comprises a power supply unit which provides a voltage and a driving current to a string of light-emitting diodes, a light modulating unit which is used for regulating the work cycle of an original light modulating signal according to the driving current and an ideal current so as to generate a light modulating signal, and a current sink coupled to the string of light-emitting diodes, and the work cycle of the driving current is adjusted according to the light modulating signal. According to the invention, the brightness of the light-emitting diodes can be accurately controlled through adjusting the work cycle of the driving current, and the defects of the prior art that the brightness of the light-emitting diodes can not be accurately controlled and the picture quality of a display is poor are overcome.
