Abstract

A signal transmission apparatus including: a plurality of modulating sections configured to modulate a transmission object signal; and a plurality of demodulating sections configured to demodulate the modulated signals modulated by the modulating sections, wherein each of carrier frequencies as frequencies different from each other used by respective sets of the modulating sections and the demodulating sections is set such that frequency of a third-order intermodulation distortion component generated on a basis of two carrier frequencies adjacent to each other is not present within any of reception bands of modulated signals based on each of the other carrier frequencies.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to a signal transmission device, an electronic device, and a signal transmission method, and particularly relates to modulation distortion (especially "intermodulation distortion") caused by nonlinearity of electronic components. Background technique [0002] Not only can one carrier frequency be used to transmit between a group of transmitters and receivers in the communication area, but also a combination of multiple frequencies can be used for signal transmission. For example, there are cases where a frequency division multiplexing system (using two carrier frequencies) is applied and two-way simultaneous communication is performed between a group of communication devices, and there are cases where communication is performed between a plurality of communication devices using respective different carrier frequencies (one-way communication or two-way communication). There is also a set of communication equipment that co...
