Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a method, a set-top box, a cloud terminal application server and a system for realizing cloud terminal business, so as to provide cloud technical services for a set-top box user through a digital television network. The method comprises the following steps that: the connection between the set-top box and the cloud terminal application server is set up; through the connection, the set-top box processes the corresponding image data from a remote desktop of the cloud terminal application server, so as to output the corresponding image data to display equipment, so that the display equipment displays the remote desktop; and through the remote desktop, the set-top box appears the cloud terminal business provided by the cloud terminal application server. According to the method provided by the embodiment of the invention, exiting equipment and a network are fully utilized, and an operation scheme of the cloud terminal business is realized.
