A tool, called the Skills Matching Application (SMA), allows a user, such as a hiring manager, to communicate requirements to technical service suppliers in a way that significantly reduces the process time and improves the accuracy of requests sent to suppliers. The SMA is accessed from a Web-based Requisition / Catalog (REQ / CAT) Web application. A user who needs to request a technical contractor accesses the REQ / CAT Web application which brings the user to the SMA Web site. The SMA application, after requiring a password and profile (for first time access) to be entered, takes the user through a series of screens which prompts the user to enter a Statement of Work (SOW) and complete a skills detail checklist for each of the technical skills requested. Once the request is completed, it is submitted to contracted suppliers who are sent an e-mail notification notifying the supplier that a new request has been entered into the SMA application for them to review and submit a candidate against. This e-mail has a standard formatted attachment which contains the statement of work and skills detail checklist. The suppliers, when they receive an e-mail request, access the Web site database to view the request details. A supplier provides a candidate or candidates by accessing the SMA Web site and submitting candidates and appending resumes as appropriate. The supplier provides a response to the SOW by responding to the entries with the candidate's skills, experience, etc. The requestor views the supplier responses and associated resumes and can either accept or reject each candidate submitted but cannot accept more than the number of candidates requested.

The method comprises the steps: collecting real-time monitoring data and writing into a database of an enterprise WEB server database; issuing the real-time data by the enterprise WEB server through a standard http protocol; mapping the data into Internet server, directly obtaining the data from a browser when a customer browses the Web server, wherein the monitoring system comprises a field apparatus and a management device; transmitting the collected field data to a PLC (programmable logic controller) to control an execution component by a field instrument in the field apparatus; simultaneously carrying out data interaction on an industrial personal computer and a server by the PLC via an industrial switch; carrying out communication connection with the server through the switch by the industrial control computer in the management device; and issuing the data to the enterprise WEB server by the server as an OPC (OLE for process control) client. According to the remote monitoring system disclosed by the invention, an operator can achieve constantly grasping of production and operation in everywhere and the mode that a set of technical service personnel is configured for each sewage treatment plant in the past is avoided, so that manpower resource is greatly saved and the operation cost is reduced.

Described is a system and algorithm for allocating files in various storage units available within the CFS, as well as a technique for enabling storage system administrator(s) to control the file allocation in Clustered File Systems (CFS). The CFS server may execute one or more file allocation algorithms, which enable the storage system administrator(s) to establish a flexible file allocation policy for allocating storage resources among various storage units in the CFS. To this end, each file server in the CFS includes a file locator module, which operates in accordance with one or more file allocation algorithms, and inter-operates with other similar modules of other file servers in the CFS to exchange information on available storage resources and allocate storage resources within various storage units in the CFS. CFS may be configured to support multiple file allocation policies, which may be selected either automatically or by the storage system administrator(s). The file locator module enables the inventive CFS to implement these file allocation policies. Once the appropriate policy has been selected, the file allocation module performs various file allocation operations according to the selected file allocation policy, and issues the file creation requests to the appropriate CFS server(s).
