Abstract

The invention relates to an invertible circuit break device which can operate by connecting to the over-voltage protection device in series and has a parallel circuit which is connected to the first current circuit and the second current circuit in parallel; the first current circuit has an impedance resistor and the second current circuit has at least a conductor part which is made of a shape memory alloy. The invertible circuit break device has a switch which is connected to the parallel-connected circuit and the over voltage protection device in series, wherein the switch can realize the switching on and off in an invertible manner through the conductor made of the shape memory alloy; the process of switching on and off the conductor part is triggered by the current of the conductor part, so that when the conductor part heats, the over-voltage protection device can be invertiblly switched off.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a reversible circuit breaking device, which is a reversible circuit breaking device used for an overvoltage protection device. Background technique [0002] Various overvoltage protection devices are known from the prior art. [0003] A big problem in using these overvoltage protection devices is that follow-up currents often occur after a fault event. [0004] This subsequent current generally leads to high power losses in the overvoltage protection device. Intense heating occurs here, which leads to irreversible damage or destruction of the surge protector and is therefore a hazard not only to the surge protector but also to the environment. [0005] In addition to this, in order to respond quickly to an overvoltage event, the impedance of the overvoltage protection device quickly becomes small, since low impedance actually indicates a short circuit. If subsequent currents now occur, the low impedance would be a danger to ...
