The invention discloses an intermittent hypoxia system comprising a sealing tank (1), an oxygen concentration detector (2), a nitrogen flow control valve (4), an air flow control valve (5), an in-box gas replacement control valve (6) and an air pump (7), wherein the nitrogen flow control valve (4), the air flow control valve (5), the in-box gas replacement control valve (6) and the air pump (7) are connected with a PLC (programmable logic controller) (3), the oxygen concentration detector (2) is arranged at the top of the sealing tank (1) and distant from a sealing cover (11), the left side and the right side of the sealing tank (1) are provided with nitrogen inlets (41 and 42) which are connected with a nitrogen gas source (43) connected with the nitrogen flow control valve (4) externally, the front side wall of the sealing tank (1) is provided with an air inlet (51) connected with the air pump (7) connected with the air flow control valve (5) externally, and the rear side wall of the sealing tank (1) is provided with an air outlet (61) connected with the in-box gas replacement control valve (6) arranged externally. The intermittent hypoxia system is capable of simulating experiment environment of intermittent hypoxia.
