Abstract

The invention discloses a method and system for sharing wireless traffic. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a request from a request mobile device to share wireless traffic, wherein the request comprises a list about unique numbers of other mobile devices away from a request mobile device with a certain range; selecting at least one mobile device sharing the wireless traffic for the request mobile device in the received list; and sending the unique number of the at least one selected mobile device and a connection channel password thereof to the request mobile device. Through adoption of the method and device disclosed by the embodiment of the invention, the traffic sharing among users of mobile devices can be realized without participation of a mobile operator, thus the cost of the users is saved.
