Embodiment Construction

[0008] Photovoltaic panels as an example with an output of 250W / 1 panel are connected in series and form a DC power supply. If 8 panels are used, then the installed power is rated at 2kW. Wiring rated for DC applications is available to connect the PV panels to the boiler using terminals X4 and X5. The DC positive terminal L+ is connected to the heating element R using terminals 1 and 6 of the contactor ST1. DC Negative L - Connect to heating element R from terminal X5. The heating element R must be rated to match the maximum installed output of the photovoltaic panel.

[0009] AC power is connected to the boiler via terminals X1 , X2 and X3 with AC line L connected to contact Y1 on thermal fuse TP and on to coil terminal A1 on thermostat T and contactor ST1 . The AC neutral line N is connected to the coil terminal A2 on the contactor ST1 through the contact Y2 of the thermal fuse TP.

[0010] If AC power is on, the contacts on contactor ST1 engage and the heating element ...

Abstract

Power switching equipment for boilers used within regulated water heating using direct current from photovoltaic panels consists of two contactors (ST1, ST2), a thermal fuse (TP), thermostat (T), heating elements (R), two signal devices (S1, S2) and wiring terminals (X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7). The equipment uses both direct (DC) as well as alternating (AC) current. The positive pole of the direct current power source (DC) is directed to the main terminals of both contactors (ST1, ST2). Contactor coils are used to switch the direct current (DC) between contactors (ST1, ST2); these coils are powered by alternating current (AC) which passes through the thermostat (T) and the thermal fuse (TP) before reaching the coils.

Description

technical field [0001] The technical solution involves using direct current from photovoltaic panels to regulate water heating, which enables the use of electricity generated by photovoltaic panels after heating the water using direct current DC. Background technique [0002] A utility model registered at the Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic under the title "Equipment for regulated water heating using photovoltaic panels (Equipment for regulated water heating using photovoltaic panels)" with patent number 5788 solves the problem of direct connection of solar panels generating direct current to heating elements The right holder of the utility model is the same person as the applicant of the current utility model, that is, Daniel Lako, Besev, Slovak Republic. The utility model specifically uses the DC electricity generated by the photovoltaic panel to solve the water heating regulation. Once the water in the boiler has heated, the power is safely disconnected...
