An embodiment of the invention provides a wearable device and a method for controlling a terminal device in operation by the wearable device. The wearable device comprises a biosensor and a communication module. The method includes the steps: receiving a terminal device operation instruction inputted by a user through the biosensor; transmitting the operation instruction to the terminal device through the communication module to trigger the terminal device to perform corresponding operation. By the aid of the technical scheme, the wearable device receives the operation instruction for operating the terminal device, and the communication module in the wearable device transmits the operation instruction to the terminal device and triggers the terminal device to perform corresponding operation. On one hand, the use range and functions of the wearable device are expanded, so that the wearable device serves as a control center for controlling the terminal device in a local area network to perform the operation. On the other hand, the user can correspondingly operate the terminal device without approaching the terminal device, and daily life of the user is facilitated.
