Abstract

The invention relates to a VANET (vehicular ad hoc network) time slot reservation method based on the game theory and is used for solving the problem of time slot collisions caused by vehicle movement in a VANET. According to the method, part of traditional time slots are changed into special time slots to be used as broadcast re-reservation information, and collision nodes can be re-reserved quickly after game playing. The method comprises specific steps as follows: after new nodes are added to the network, firstly, monitoring control channels, updating neighbor node information, then selecting time slots from available time slots for reservation, monitoring the control channels again to judge whether a collision occurs or not, if the collision occurs, playing games with other collision nodes and executing correlative strategies, selecting collision time slots or reselecting time slots for reservation, then monitoring the control channel continuously, and repeating the steps until the time slots are reserved successfully. With the adoption of the method, the reservation success rate of the time slots is guaranteed, under a heavy-load condition, the problem of continuous collisions of time slot reservation can be relieved, the time slot reservation speed can be increased, and coordination of a base station or a center node is not required.
