Abstract

Compared with routine LED illumination systems, on the condition of common color temperature (CCT) and common color rendering index (CRI), the mixed color white light LED illumination system has a higher gamut area index (GAI). A white light LED illumination object having high gamut area index is utilized, color saturation of an illuminated object can be substantially improved, color of the illuminated object is more brilliant, and preference and fondness of the illuminated object are improved for people. The high color saturation white light LED mixed color design method is for design of the white light LED illumination system, a color temperature adjustment scope 2000-10000K can be acquired, and the gamut area index (GAI) is greater than or equal to 100. Through the mixed color design method, a curve relation among red, green and blue (RGB) light proportions, a color rendering index and the gamut area index (GAI) is established, and thereby a new approach is provided for realization of high-quality intelligent illumination.
