welding area, and carrying out the preprocessing of the near-
infrared image;
parallel processing is carried out based on the observed gap flash characteristic, the
white light ray characteristic and the second-layer aperture contour, and three welding seam area characteristics of the gap flash characteristic, the
white light ray characteristic and the second-layer aperture contour are obtained; a multi-
feature fusion welding seam recognition method is adopted, the three welding seam region features are fused, and the final groove-free welding seam position is determined; and according to the finally determined position of the groove-free welding seam, the offset and the direction of a welding gun are calculated, a
control signal is generated according to the offset and the direction, and an execution mechanism is controlled to adjust the position of the welding gun for welding. The method and the
system provided by the invention can realize robust identification and accurate positioning of the groove-free welding seam, and the
system has strong adaptability to different welding environments.
