A circulating water system is added to simulate the combined effect of wave and current. A first water reservoir simulates different water depths through air pressure regulation. The seepage force generator is used to place sediment samples and generate seepage force with a specified distribution. The data acquisition module is used to collect the data required for the experiment. The sediment initiation process is observed using a high-definition digital imaging device combined with image processing technology. This invention has the advantages of small footprint, convenient operation, and precise control.
