Abstract

The invention discloses a multi-information fusion scientific research theme discovering and tracking method and a system thereof, wherein the method comprises the following steps of: S1, downloading a scientific research literature of an appointed subject, and collating literature metadata; S2, pre-processing the literature metadata to form a literature data set; S3, establishing a multi-source-information fusion scientific research literature probability theme model by comprehensive utilization of a text and citation information, and discovering distribution of theme words and distribution of theme core literatures; and S4, on the basis of the obtained distribution of the theme core literatures and the obtained distribution of the theme words, in combination with time information of the literature, tracking the change condition of a scientific research theme by utilizing a theme tracking calculation formula. According to the scientific research theme discovering and tracking method and system provided in the embodiment of the invention, the scientific research theme in the field of pre-set scientific research can be mined; research interests of scientific researchers are changed along with time; and thus, the evolutionary context of the scientific research theme can be grasped easily.
