The gear shift point calibration method of the automatic transmission comprises the steps of obtaining the maximum rotation speed of the engine in case of low-temperature start of the engine, and determining the maximum input rotation speed of the automatic transmission according to the maximum rotation speed of the engine, specifically, the maximum input rotation speed of the automatic transmission is equal to the maximum rotation speed of the engine; working out the maximum output rotation speed of the automatic transmission when the automatic transmission is at the first gear according to the maximum input rotation speed of the automatic transmission; and calibrating the maximum output rotation speed of the automatic transmission as the rotation speed of the gear shift point, from the first gear to the second gear, of the automatic transmission at the zero throttle. The gear shift point calibration method of the automatic transmission is applicable to automatic transmissions.
