The invention discloses a novel sphygmomanometer fusing ECG (electrocardiogram) signals and pulse waveform quantitative evaluation. The novel sphygmomanometer comprises an ECG signal acquisition module, a blood pressure signal acquisition module, a data processing module and a display module, wherein the data processing module is used for calculating parameters infusing ECG data characteristics and pulse waveform characteristics according to ECG data and pulse wave data after numerical sampling. New blood pressure characterization is realized by the novel sphygmomanometer, and the characteristic parameters comprise heart rate, R-R interval, systolic pressure SBP, diastolic pressure DBP and form correlation of pulse waves and a self-built model. Output results of the novel sphygmomanometer fuse the ECG data characteristics and the pulse waveform characteristics, so that the novel sphygmomanometer can be used for evaluating blood pressure characteristics of a patient better and has important diagnostic value for a patient suffering from combined arrhythmia, especially paroxysmal arrhythmia.
