Abstract

The invention discloses a vehicle fuel evaporation system leakage diagnosis device and a diagnosis method, and belongs to the technical field of fuel tank detection. The diagnosis device is used for accurately diagnosing if a vehicle fuel evaporation system generates leakage, wherein the vehicle fuel evaporation system comprises a fuel tank, a carton tank and an engine. The leakage diagnosis device comprises an oxygen sensor, a carton tank desorption valve, an evaporation system leakage detecting module and an engine management system. The engine management system is used for controlling opening and closing of the carbon tank desorption valve and the vacuum pump and receiving air-fuel ratio signals and pressure signals. The air-fuel ratio signals of the fuel evaporation system are directly monitored through the oxygen sensor, and are used for correcting pressure signal curves; and after the influence on the pressure by the fuel evaporation is removed, the pressure signal curves are compared with a reference pressure signal curve to accurately diagnose if the fuel evaporation system generates leakage so as to prevent wrong report of the leakage fault of the fuel evaporation system caused by the fuel evaporation.
