Abstract

A method for optimally arranging pressure monitoring points of a municipal-oriented water supply pipe network comprises the steps of carrying out analog simulation on a running state of a water supply pipe network in a monitoring area based on EPANET software to obtain a spatial attribute and a non-spatial attribute of each pressure monitoring point; constructing each piece of original node characteristic matrix data of the pipe network by use of the abovementioned attribute values, and obtaining the node characteristic matrix data through a dimensionless method; carrying out clustering analysis on the node characteristic matrix data by use of an OPTICS (Ordering Points To Identify the Clustering Structure) clustering algorithm to obtain an ordered set of pressure monitoring nodes; selecting an appropriate node clustering set based on the ordered set of the pressure monitoring nodes; and finally determining the positions and the number of the pressure monitoring points of the municipal water supply pipe network in the monitoring area according to clustering result and the node influence degree. The method has the advantages that the areal distribution situation of the pipe network pressure can be effectively reflected, the number of clusters does not need to be initialized and divided by use of the OPTICS algorithm; the cluster group can be an arbitrary shape, and thus the influence of an initial parameter on the clustering result is avoided.
