The method includes the steps of extracting feature points of pictures to be classified,and acquiring tag information of the corresponding pictures according to the feature points; acquiring set tag information of multiple picture sets, and selecting a picture set of which the set tag information and the picture tag information are matched as a target picture set; acquiring the degree of association between the pictures to be classified and pictures in the target picture set, and determining whether or not the degree of association is greater than a preset threshold; if the degree of association is greater than the preset threshold, a storage link address of the pictures to be classified is stored in the target picture set. The method can effectively perform picture classification and store pictures with high degree of association in the same set to provide convenience for viewing.
